Onward Search is currently hiring for a Marketing Operations Specialist! This is a one year contract in Dunwoody with the potential to extend. Benefits available during the contract period.

The primary purpose of this position is to plan, distribute, QA and deploy content across digital channels. This includes, but is not limited to, prioritizing, scheduling and deploying content on the web, mobile, app, e-mail, and social channels. Also, the Omni-Channel Operations Specialist will elaborate with relevant campaign managers on the personalized targeting and segmentation strategies for IHG digital channels as well as QA content before launch. Once in the market, the Omni-Channel Marketing Specialist will work with relevant teams to optimize content, fix defects and document relevant processes for testing and deployment.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • 3+ years’ experience in digital marketing-related area and/or agency.
  • Ability to evaluate and test digital functionality and content according to channel and brand specifications.
  • Experience managing content across a variety of digital channels including web, mobile web, apps, e-mail and social.
  • Knowledge of web/mobile/app standards, browser compatibility issues, and accessibility issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Must possess superior problem-solving skills combined with team facilitation skill and demonstrated experience leading and developing people.
  • Must be able to prepare and deliver solid presentations to small groups.


  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing principles and concepts and demonstrated creative problem-solving ability and demonstrated creative thinking skills as evidenced by prior digital campaigns.
  • Coordinate content throughout the lifecycle, including channel planning, project resources, monitoring progress, QA and execution of marketing content.
  • Serve as liaison for iterative content revisions, consolidating & negotiating feedback from critical stakeholders.
  • Partner with team members to resolve the identified channel or content-related issues.
  • Ensure content compliance with digital brand usage guidelines.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on published content.
  • Manage, document and communicate key processes as it relates to digital operations.
  • Develop and present data-driven recommendations successfully, promote items persuasively, and shape the opinions of others.
