Onward Search has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Project Manager with a growing eyewear company! Specific responsibilities will include the following:

Responsibilities: 

  • Helping to track and facilitate the many projects within our in-house studio, including print, video and digital ads which will run across all critical social and online channels.
  • Managing priorities set by team leads and coordinate efforts to achieve those priorities, on-time, and on budget.
  • Determining project schedules, ensuring compliance of legal and branding elements.
  • Maintaining a project database and documentation.
  • Managing Basecamp tasks and conversations.
  • Project coordination/tracking of jobs via Basecamp, JIRA, and other collaboration tools.
  • Provide a project schedule/calendar to identify when each task will be performed.
  • Assigning creative resources by the project to ensure a balanced and productive workflow.
  • Tracking revisions, reviewing art files, getting necessary elements to vendors/internal teams, calendaring of jobs, deadlines, and resources.
  • Resolve any issues and solve problems throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with team leaders to set clear expectations for tasks and deliverables, provide timely feedback, information and direction to internal and external teams while diplomatically managing expectations.
  • Collaborate with team leaders to ensure expectations are managed about scope, progress, schedule, and budget.
  • Maintain file archive/job numbers of all work within the internal system.
  • Communicate creative comments and rationale, approvals, exceptions, and status.
  • Verify audio, video and design specs and ensure compliance.
  • Compile comments from other reviewers and prepare one comprehensive feedback in one communication.
  • Track and report on project milestones and provide status reports to team leads.
  • Seek to clarify or confirm accuracy and understanding of individual's request/message.

Experience:

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience as a project manager, with a proven ability to effectively meet deliverable expectations and deadlines for marketing deliverables.
  • Strong in digital covering social media, static banners, email, websites, landing pages projects.
  • Previous experience with operational workflows that require managing tracking documentation.
  • Background in project management for any of the following preferred: video production, design or marketing/advertising agency.
  • Able to demonstrated ability to think innovatively connecting the dots when others cannot.
  • Able to organize, summarize, clarify and communicate ideas directly, succinctly and accurately.
  • Pragmatic, Organized and Detailed: Has the tremendous capacity to both think and “do” in a very “hands on” role, adding value at different levels.
  • Independent thinker willing and able to express/support a point of view.
  • Self-motivated and enjoys having multiple projects going at once.
