Onward Search's client, a major entertainment studio, is seeking a Marketing Strategy Manager join the Home Entertainment team. We are looking for candidates with the following skills and competencies. 

Skills:

  • In partnership with Marketing Lead, initiate and support aspects of marketing strategy, positioning, campaign timing and ensure all day-to-day campaign elements align with overarching campaign strategy.
  • Generate and maintain key campaign strategy documents and presentations for updates to various internal and external groups including filmmakers, cross campaign kickoffs, marketing meets, weekly department meetings, updates to Product teams, etc.
  • Ensure integration and consistent messaging and tie-ins across all marketing departments and activities in a given period threading marketing messaging across platforms.
  • Maintain critical documents to serve as the communications platform to increase alignment and understanding of campaign activities. From developing marketing milestones to creating filmmaker presentations, to maintaining updated status document son the campaign, these communication devices are critical to the higher level functioning of the team.
  • Pro-actively generate big picture thinking and seek out innovative approaches to campaigns across teams.
  • Manage the creative deadlines and coordinate debuts across platforms, requiring detailed project management.
  • Facilitate and ensure all necessary approvals on marketing elements – including legal clearances and product team. With the ability to champion marketing executions and obtain buy-in from key stakeholders.
  • Maintain current status of all campaign materials/initiatives across departments, responsible for sharing information with the broader marketing team.
  • Seek, identify and execute process and communication improvements to align the various divisions within marketing and product behind a focused strategy of our films, identify areas of development and work with teams to be more efficient.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3-5 years prior experience in entertainment-related film, in-house and digital experience preferred.
  • High level capacity to be a strong communicator, collaborate and influencer across teams.
  • Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills able to communicate ideas in a fast-paced, creative environment.
  • Be prepared to work effectively in a high matrix organization thriving in working in an extremely fast-paced environment.
  • Courageous and willing to speak up and share opinions with strong attention to detail.
  • Collaborative, and demonstrate the ability to be proactive and resourceful.
  • Must have creative sensibilities and be able to juggle many different projects in various degrees of completion at the same time.
