Onward Search has an exciting opportunity for a Media Producer with a leading home goods retailer!

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating production of creative content as directed by the creative manager, taking projects from concept to completion while working within the parameters of the brand style guides
  • Producing location shoots
  • Executing seasonal calendar and updates based upon the timelines of cross-functional teams
  • Managing communication for freelance writers, editors, and videographers -- provide schedules, oversee outsourced projects, and review and test media content before deployment
  • Working closely with copywriters and the creative team to gather final editorial content, and route through creative services production teams
  • Executing basic editing of videos
  • Executing content database, including metadata, attributes, and related media assets to online library
  • Publishing media content

You must have 3+ years of media producing experience ideally in a retail or eCommerce environment with a lifestyle-oriented "trend-setting" brand.You must also have the ability to work off-hours and off-site necessary.

This is an onsite contract role located in San Francisco that kicks off at the end of this month!

  • Must be proficient in Final Cut, Photoshop, and FTP systems
  • Must be familiar with web content management systems and processes
  • Must be familiar with Flash, InDesign, and Illustrator
  • Must be detail-oriented and have very strong organizational skills
  • Must have strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Print or digital publishing experience a plus
  • Overall video production experience a plus
  • Work station provided
