Our client, a sports tv network, is seeking a Sales Insights Analyst to join their team on a 12-month+ contract basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Help the Pan Regional and Central America commercial teams drive revenue for linear and digital properties through the use of insights
  • Contribute data driven insights for developing successful sales strategies that are instrumental for reaching revenue goals
  • Analyze, synthesize and generate qualitative and quantitative information relevant to advertisers for making marketing and media spending decisions
  • Provide actionable insights for the sales, marketing, and creative departments
  • Partner with the sales team to present insights findings to clients
  • Educate the sales, marketing, and creative departments on the latest market trends
  • Develop sales-driven and analytical solutions using various data sources
  • Prepare periodic audience reports for both linear and digital platforms
  • Keep up to date with industry changes, case studies and regulatory impacts through internal and external networks

Musts:

  • 2-4 years of relevant Ad Sales research experience required including TV, cross platform, agency or consumer research
  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, communication, economics, management information systems, marketing, mathematics, media, psychology, or statistics, preferred
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Proficient with TV and digital metrics tools, such as IBOPE Media Workstation, TGI, and ComScore
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative skills, including both analytical abilities as well as math proficiency
  • Strong understanding of behavioral and primary research data
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint a must
  • Advanced knowledge in Data Visualizations tools (such as Tableau and Domo) is a plus
  • Ability to identify, distill, and articulate clear and actionable brand stories, insights and recommendations from a variety of data sources
  • A proven multi-tasker - ability to manage numerous projects independently in a fast-¬paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of the television industry relevant to broadcast, cable and new media, including research terminology and methodology
  • Facebook analytics, Social Bakers, Auditsa, Google Analytics, and Adobe Analytics experience preferred
  • Ability to drive big data analysis, creative storytelling, data visualization and presentation development with a client mindset
  • Self-starter and proactive thinker with an innate curiosity, bias for action and desire to push beyond the status quo
  • Extremely strong writing and communication skills
  • Proven ability to cultivate strong working relationships across departments
