Our client is looking for a Regional Events Manager to join their team in Miami with frequent trips to Orlando, FL.


In this role, you will work closely with the marketing department and focus on the coordination and execution of events that promote the brands lifestyle.


  • Event Planning and Production
  • Assist with all marketing efforts
  • Seek and reach out to potential new event clients in order to build relationships with new local business that aligns with the brand
  • Coordinate appointments and visits to see our spaces, and scheduling of events on the calendar
  • Negotiate contracts and book event spaces
  • Work with other employees: arrange food and beverages, order supplies and equipment, make travel arrangements, help the marketing team with event signs and collateral materials
  • Assist with preparing budgets and provide progress reports
  • Keep track of event finances including check requests, invoicing,and reporting.
  • Propose events and discuss with team for approval
  • Create and revise room layouts for each event
  • Serve as liaison with vendors on event-related matters
  • Assist with managing on-site production and clean up for events as necessary
  • Prepare nametags, materials, notebooks, packages, gift bags, registration lists, seating cards, etc.
  • Keep event calendar updated and close out all events as required
  • Conduct research and find resources to help staff make decisions about event possibilities
  • Propose ideas on how to improve reoccurring events
  • Perform any and all duties required in day to day operations


  • Experience with hospitality, customer service and event planning
  • Must be professional, articulate, friendly
  • Possess and exhibits the drive to provide exceptional service
  • Full time flexible hours are required and must be able to work days, nights, weekends, holidays
  • Excellent communication skills, including writing, proof reading skills, and speaking
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments
  • Excellent interpersonal skills both in person and by phone, with high professionalism
  • Technology requirements: proficient using the latest versions of Microsoft office suite; Apple devices and software; able to manage social media events for business accounts in Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
  • Ability to travel from Miami to Orlando frequently
  • Able to work at a rapid pace while maintaining attention to detail; ability to multi-task and independently
  • Must have good supervisory skills in order to manage multiple events in different cities
  • Must have good communication skills and ability to build partnerships with local businesses such as restaurants, wineries, fitness clubs, event venues, different types of independent entertainment contractors and local artists
  • Must have teaching and motivational skills
  • Must show enthusiasm for the job and passion about core values
  • Must be considerate, patient and willing to help out fellow employees
  • Must be able to tolerate pressure and work calmly and efficiently during busy times
  • Must handle guest complaints according to policies and procedures
  • Possess the highest work ethics, personal morals and love to have fun and share with others




  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
