Onward Search is looking for a Mid Level UX Designer to come join one of the TOP award winning retail companies in Dallas TX!! This will be a 6 month contract to hire role onsite with remote options. Benefits available during the contract period.

We are looking for a UX Designer with an eCommerce background.

The UX Designer is responsible for delivering the vision, experience and creative strategy for their respective projects and products. To do this, the designer will need to build strong relationships with product management and UX peers, development and other critical partners to establish and deliver on the business and customer requirements that enhances our digital experiences and products. The designer would do this through research, competitive analysis, design sprints, lean ux, formal in person testing and interviews with customers and associates.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities:

* 70% Sketch, Wireframe, Create Design Concepts and Build Interactive Prototypes
-Creatively solve problems through various design methods
using design language and brand guidelines.
-Create intuitive prototypes (paper/digital) that can be used in user tests, or to communicate interaction and designed such that information is easy to find, understand and consume
-Pair with Engineering to implement designs.

* 20% Consult with stakeholders to understand their goals and explain research results
-Present data, research and design concepts to multidisciplinary teams as well as to key stakeholders and business partners

* 10% Conduct usability testing and competitor/customer analysis
-Write test scripts in partnership with research, watch testing videos, write up results, analyze data and provide recommendations to address business needs.
-Understand, research and learn how emerging and competing sites solve similar problems and what we can learn from them
