This role sits at the intersection of content, design, and product, and is responsible for bringing our brand and content to life through storytelling, motion design, brand design, on social media, through video, and visual presentations both on and off our platforms.

This motion graphics and video animation pro will do take projects from start to finish, including concept and ideation, stakeholder communication, visual research, creative assignments, file management, meeting deadlines, purchasing, billing and invoicing. They should have a high level of competency working in the Adobe Creative Suite, with a focus on After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, and Photoshop. They should have a minimum 5+ years of multimedia experience, ideally at an editorially driven media company.

Responsibilities:

  • Custom content design and story-telling for social media channels, including Snapchat, Instagram.
  • Deep understanding of web and native platform technical requirements.
  • Motion graphics and desktop animation. 
  • Video branding design and video package design. 
  • Digital content design and visual strategy on our site. 
  • Designing and animating type, charts, timelines, and maps.
