Our client, a lifestyle subscription company in the South Bay of Los Angeles, is seeking a Motion Graphics Designer to join the team.

You will report to the Video Director and be responsible for:

  • Create motion graphics designs for social, editorial, internal content, and marketing initiatives including assets for FB ads and IG ads
  • Work in After Effects and Cinema4D to build graphics packages and ads for content purposes mostly doing 3D motion and title graphics to elevate the content
  • Collaborate with and work directly under the Video Director to maintain a high level of quality that meets company branding standards
  • Create consistent, on-trend graphics packages that editors can use in their videos being someone who can bridge the gap between graphics design team and video team
  • Being a self-starter able to work under minimal direction to create motion graphics content for cross-channel messaging
  • Creating designs that are simple, clean, strong symmetry, soft shadow, solid colors, etc.

Musts:

  • 3-5 years experience as a motion graphics animator/artist
  • Portfolio showcasing fashion, beauty, or lifestyle
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Must have a complete understanding of AfterEffects and Cinema4D, Maya and 3D compositing software as well as Adobe Premiere a big plus
  • Robust typography and design skills, with strong eye for composition
  • Equipped in storytelling and marketing to digital minded audiences
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with highly motivated team members
  • Bonus if have video shooting experience and camera knowledge
  • Previous startup experience and interest in growing with a company
