Onward Search is looking for a Corporate Events Planner for one of our largest Financial Clients for a 2 month contract sitting in NYC. This person must have previous corporate event planning experience. This person will be responsible for owning end-to-end execution of assigned internal events, including all logistical coordination from contract negotiation, vendor and catering management, venue sourcing, budget tracking, invitations, to planning and production to onsite execution and post-event analysis. This individual will also be assisting with the procurement and delivery of “swag”.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of event planning experience
  • 2+ years of experience managing budgets, vendor relationships and contract negotiations
  • Experience with CVENT
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • 1+ years of event planning experience for financial company preferred
