One of our Fortune 500 Financial Services Clients is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join their team. The project manager contractor position will manage the end-to-end execution process for digital wallets marketing campaigns. The position will require strong project management skills, creative development experience with a focus on digital channels, and a solid understanding of agile methodology. The candidate will partner with various cross functional teams to ensure successful implementation of marketing campaigns -from strategy to launch.


  • Lead the end-to-end execution of critical marketing initiatives across digital channels and successfully manage the launch of digital wallets’ marketing campaigns
  • Mange initiatives through the entire project lifecycle and align on project and creative requirements with cross functional partners

This includes:

  • Building and managing project schedules, scopes, and timelines
  • Identifying risks and issues, quickly recommending mitigation plans, and clearly communicating goals and status to stakeholders while ensuring timely delivery of projects
  • Writing business briefs and translating customer targeting strategies into executional business requirement and functional requirements documents, and /or user’s stories
  • Conducting QA and ensuring execution operational excellence. Adhering fully with corporate policies, legal and regulatory requirements, and departmental procedures
  • Working closely with the emails, banners, and statements channel teams and vendors
  • Define, evaluate, and improve agile processes. Clearly communicate findings and retrospective recommendations across the organization

Required qualifications:

  • Experience managing digital marketing projects for the complete lifecycle, with competing resources and priorities. Direct experience with digital channels such as emails and banners
  • Proven ability assessing ambiguous problem sets and helping teams identify concrete next steps to address business objectives and pain points. Healthy skepticism of anecdotes. Ability to use data and critical thinking to ask the right questions, proactively seek out solutions, and make educated decisions
  • Familiarity with agile principles and practices which encourage quick-to-launch, iterative development and predictable delivery
  • Track record of writing agile user stories and/ or waterfall business and functional requirement documents. Ability to translate strategic initiatives into executional roadmaps for the digital channels teams and vendors
  • Ability to partner effectively on cross-functional initiatives and to influence project teams and stakeholders without direct authority. Comfortable shaping and managing large scale projects
  • Self-starter with the ability to quickly learn, develop and understand processes
  • Strong sense of focus and excellent attention to detail while working in a very fast-paced environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel spreadsheet programming experience, building complex project mgmt. matrices and plans. In addition, experience with other project management software to effectively manage multiple projects with changing priorities, overlapping deliverables and tight deadlines

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience leading cross-functional projects. Work experience in the payment industry or a digital creative agency is a plus
  • Project management and / or agile scrum certified and/ or advanced degree in business
  • Familiarity with the digital wallets’ ecosystem (products, competitors, trends, etc.)


  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
