We are recruiting for an Operations Analyst to join the team of one of our fortune 500 Pharma clients.

The Operations Analyst I is a solid communicator and critical component of the Design Operations Team who interacts routinely with design teams and leaders while supporting the functions of Finance, Procurement, Legal, Quality and Compliance. In this role, you are responsible for maintaining and refining both new and existing tools, systems and data collection processes.

Additionally, you will use your strong analytical skills to assess financial and operational information. You will successfully ensure accurate spend tracking and monitoring via SAP, Ariba and internal data collection. You will execute purchase orders and ensure availability of funds as needed.

You will follow up on multiple projects and keep the Manager of Design Operations and the Finance Business Partner informed of project developments and challenges. You will partner with Finance and Procurement on strategies and activities, including high probability funding, vendor spend analysis and vendor platform migration.

This position also assumes ownership of certain aspects of the Operations function, independently manages work load and coordinates deadlines in a collaborative and cross-functional environment.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in business administration with focus on finance or operations is required. A minimum of 4 years of experience in similar capacity is required
  • Experience with corporate in-house vendor management is preferred
  • Strong data analytical and problem-solving abilities as well as excellent communication and influencing skills are required
  • Extensive Excel, Filemaker Pro and Microsoft Office experience (on a MAC platform) required
  • Aptitude to simultaneously coordinate multiple projects of varying complexity is required
  • Customer-focused, articulate, passionate, independent, collaborative, flexible, creative, innovative and self-motivated
