Our client, an NYC-based luxury beauty brand, is hiring a Freelance Production Assistant to help support the Director of Creative Operations.

This is a long-term contract, starting ASAP. Candidates must be local to NYC.

Responsibilities:

  • Support department on pre-production, production, and post-production tasks. Responsible for clear communication with Director and other team members to ensure that everyone is updated on assigned tasks and programs.
  • Coordinate weekly meetings with producers and Senior Analysts to review each program to ensure we are on track for fiscal spending.
  • Complete Management of Product Ordering and Product Comps/Bulk for Production Department across all programs. Including storing and inventorying them.
  • Assist Director with the planning of photoshoots (still-life, self-capture, beauty) and assist on set when needed/as needed
    Assist Director with overseeing the management of shoot briefs with Art Directors to ensure we are on track to shoot
  • Coordination of Product and Deliveries between internal team members, and with outside external studio partners.

Post-Production Responsibilities :

  • Building Video Deliverable Grids and Specs for all programs
  • QCing final video and stills deliveries for all programs
  • Obtaining, Organizing and Monitoring Art Documents such as 3D files and Decos required in the post-production process.

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Assistance across production department as needed.
  • File Management and organization of assets.
  • Assist Director to schedule meetings, external Pre-Production, and Post Production sessions externally.
  • Organization of Production server. Review weekly to confirm all program folders are up to date with contracts, call sheets, briefs, stylist credit, shade/makeup credit, etc.
