Our client, a boutique marketing and advertising agency, is looking for a Project Manager with experience across integrated projects in an advertising agency environment. This role begins immediately. Candidates must be local to NYC.

What you'll be doing:

  • Partner with the Account and Creative teams to ensure that all deliverables scoped are fulfilled, on budget and on time
  • Liaise with all agency functions to ensure project success from client brief through launch
  • Oversee budgets and timelines including tasks, schedules, hours reports/burn rate, initiating vendor POs and keeping leadership team aware of all statuses
  • Develop scopes and budgeting for all new projects
  • Create and get integrated team and client buy-in to timeline and estimate resource needs
  • Work in partnership with finance team to manage project budgets and provide a weekly status of project burn
  • Own and take accountability for keeping team on time and on budget
  • Lead project kick-off meetings, setting clear expectations of all roles and responsibilities using PM software
  • Assess issues as they arise and work with team to remove barriers
  • Continuously look for opportunities to drive process improvements for current and future projects
  • Manage the budgeting, estimation and tracking process for all external vendors and contractors including printers, producers, freelancers, etc.
  • Lead staffing of all incoming projects with the creative team, identifying resource gaps and fixing
  • Review utilization reports on a weekly basis, leveraging timecard reporting data to ensure proper allocation and forecasting
  • Learn agency processes and skills and help team to deliver a fully integrated experience for clients
  • Utilize and continue to develop your leadership and relationship skills
  • Other tasks may apply

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of Project Management experience in a creative advertising agency environment
  • Experience with digital creative development process including banners, web, mobile
  • PMP Certification a plus but not required
  • Ability to demonstrate your time management and analytical skills
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Able to leverage experience to solve problems and remove potential roadblocks
  • Experience working with strategy & creative teams
  • Understanding of creative process including timing, effort and appropriate skillsets
  • Technology skillsets Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Docs/Drive
  • Familiarity with collaboration software (e.g. Google Docs) and agency management tools (e.g. Workamajig)
  • Experience with Keynote and InDesign a plus but not required
