Our client, a small, independent advertising agency is looking for a Resource Manager to join their team. This project starts immediately. Candidates must be local to the NYC area as there is plan to return to some on-site work later this year. You must have your own computer for the role.

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop recommendations for all agency staffing on projects by assessing workload and department fit (departments include Creative, Account, Production, Strategy)
  • Make sure the various agency departments are balanced and meeting deadlines
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on the review and hiring process of all candidates
  • Track upcoming creative deadlines, flagging any issues to creative and account leads
  • Keep resourcing system (currently Teamdeck), processes and tools up to date
  • Other tasks may apply

About you:

  • 3+ years of advertising agency experience in Project Management, Account Management or Resource Management
  • Experience with staffing, workload assessment, organizing team deliverables, tracking deadlines and timelines
  • You have operated in a client-facing role, partnering with clients on timelines, budgets and scopes of work
  • Proven experience supporting integrated teams in the initiation of briefs, development and execution of projects
  • Knowledge of integrated advertising/marketing including print, digital, broadcast, and OOH desired
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Smartsheets, Basecamp or other contemporary PM software
