One of our global clients is looking for a full-time, direct hire Retail Project Manager for shopper marketing. This position requires a road warrior as it will have a good amount of travel to major retailer locations (think Walmart, Target, Walgreens, etc.) as you manage various digital retail projects. You will be handling PM duties as well as getting your hands dirty from time to time when you are onsite at the retail locations.

 

 

You’ll join the existing Operations team to support the execution of pilots and roll-out of campaigns across national retailers.

 

 

 

Retail Media Operations Project Manager responsibilities:

  • Create and own project schedules, including your travel to and from locations.
  • Manage and train existing partners for production, hardware, logistics, digital installation, and maintenance.
  • Plan, track, and report project budgets and collaborate with internal finance team to integrate learnings.
  • Communicate project updates to internal and external stakeholders vis status meetings and written reports.
  • Handle any incoming maintenance ticket and delegate to relevant parties and/or troubleshoot.
  • Be able to work on a varied but realistic schedule (this is not an 8 to 5 job)

 

 

 

Retail Media Operations Project Manager requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience with operations in relevant industries (events audio/visual, tradeshow, digital signage, and/or digital retail execution).
  • Great verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organization, attention to detail, and multi-tasking are very important.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel for timelines and budget maintenance.
  • Able to work well with people in a service-oriented fashion.
