Freelance Digital Communications Specialist (Hybrid)

Our client, a leader in the insurance industry, is looking for a freelance Digital Communications Specialist to join their marketing team. This position is a 6 month contract and looks to start ASAP. This is a hybrid role and must go on-site 3 days a week to their Manhattan office.

What you will be doing:

• Managing the editorial process for a weekly newsletter to advisors including crafting and copy editing multiple messages
• Copy edit emails from business areas such as webinar invitations, business updates, regulatory updates, training ,etc.
• Maintain and monitor master editorial calendar and update as necessary
• Manage ongoing content updates and renewal processes across a robust library of marketing materials and content
• Other tasks may apply.

About you:

• 5+years of relevant copy editing and writing experience in financial services
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and meeting tight deadlines
• Great project management skills and highly organized
• Strong attention to detail
• Great communicator
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Word

Pay: $54 - $59.92 hourly
