Onward Search needs a Freelance Copy Editor with a financial services background for an asset management and investment company. This company is the world's largest independent investment bank.

You’ll join the Marketing Services team to edit and occasionally help write monthly and quarterly commentaries on an array of portfolio strategies.  

This is a 6 month opportunity.

As a Copy Editor you’ll: 

  • Edit and deliver clean, accurate, commentary to meet recurring commentary schedule and work on other ad hoc sales or marketing requests.
  • Collaborate with portfolio management and sales to identify market trends.
  • Work with creative, sales, and investment teams to identify and address the right audience and create marketing and sales support materials. 

Skills & Experience needed:  

  • 2-5 years of writing experience, with at least 2 years of experience in the asset management industry or similar. 
  • A strong portfolio highlighting effecting and compliant marketing communications for multiple mediums. 
  • Familiar with the financial services industry and understands the language.
  • Desire and ability to work in a small-team setting.
  • Able to independently manage a full workload and able to shift priorities when necessary.
