Our client, a boutique creative experiential agency, is looking for a Mid-Level Experiential Designer to join their team on a 2-3 month freelance assignment with the potential to convert to full-time. This role begins on-site in NYC as soon as possible.

What you'll be doing:

  • Partner with the Creative Director, Sr. Designer, Copywriters, Strategists, Production and Technical teams to concept best in class event ideas, pitch them and execute in the field.
  • Produce all print-ready files for our vendors, fabrication shops and as client-approval documents.
  • Create 3D renderings, print collateral, signage and more.
  • You'll need to move across conceptual projects down to hand's on production design tasks at a moments notice..
  • Other tasks may apply.

About you:

  • 4-5 years of professional experience in the experiential marketing space, event production, marketing, design or advertising.
  • Expert in Adobe CS5+ including Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
  • Strong experience working in SketchUp and Vectorworks.
  • Knowledge of AutoCad is a plus.
  • You are passionate about experiential marketing and great ideas.
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic/interior design or relevant work experience.
  • Portfolio of well thought out design work.
  • Ability to present ideas visually and verbally.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience communicating with vendors and event staff.
  • Self starter who can manage your own time, and deliver projects seamlessly.
  • Ability to travel when needed and work on-site.
