Art Director

Our global luxury beauty client is looking for a contract Art Director.
The Art Director is responsible for strategic content creation from inception through completion.

The Art Director will partner with the VP and the ED in the development of concept campaigns from ideation to execution of all assets for a 360 campaign.

Responsibilities:

• Create awe-inspiring, strong story-telling creative content creation/campaigns.
  for all global programs that resonate with target audiences at La Mer and the luxury vertical.
• Direct projects from concept through pre-and post-production, retouching, mechanical production, and release.
• Lead with various departments and functions including Designers, Visual Merchandising, Copywriters, and Production Artists during project development.
• Partner with Operations to meet fast-paced timelines
• Ensure best-in-class standards are being met.
• Integrate specific projects with overall brand standards and style guidelines.
• Take ownership of deliverables and initiatives with acute attention to craft and detail.
• Present ideas to the senior management team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required8+ years related experience at a traditional ad agency or similar experience in a brand creative studio.
• A strong creative vision, a high level of design sophistication, a keen eye for photography, film, and strong typography skills are essential.
• Conceptual thinker. Being able to ideate, present, develop, and execute projects from start to finish in the highest quality.
• Good eye for layout and details and an expert in luxury space
• Storyboarding, motion graphics, and video experience
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Keynote to create presentation decks
• Understanding and implementation of animation and video production skills is a plus.
• Working knowledge of prototyping tools (InVision, Figma, etc.)
• Is self-motivated and resourceful with a positive, can-do attitude
• Great understanding of the luxury market and be familiar with trends in culture, luxury arena, design, technology, user experience, and social media.
