Our client, a premier online luxury off-price destination whom through its website and app, provides a compelling assortment of brands to fashion-seeking customers at the best prices. The company is reimagining traditional off-price with a digitally-native model focused on customer experience.

Qualifications:

  • Strong grasp of visual principles: and eye for layout, color, and composition and a stellar portfolio
  • Strong time management, communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to multi-task
  • In-depth knowledge of photographers and production processes; the ability to lead a photo set efficiently and effectively.
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 7+ years of experience in art directing fashion photo shoots
  • Experience working with Art Directors, Production, and freelance talent
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Commanding knowledge of fashion industry and pop culture trends and deep library of aesthetic references

Responsibilities:

  • Concepting, creative preparation, art direction and management of on-figure editorial photo shoots
  • Manage on set crews in-studio and on location
  • Maintain individual brand guidelines while aligning with the brand image
  • Partner effectively with photography, styling, production, post-production, merchandising and marketing teams to create industry-leading imagery
  • Be hands-on and highly creative when concepting editorial imagery. The right candidate will be resourceful, inspired, and consistently generate fresh ideas, and demonstrate highly creative problem-solving
  • Ensuring quality control with retouching - editorial photography must be consistent and fall within established guideline
