Well known Direct to Consumer retail brand is hiring a Senior Packaging Designer to help with an upcoming gift box launch. This role starts immediately for 1 month; part-time (20 hours/week). The right person will be available to work remotely, in EST hours (team based in NYC).

Should have strong understanding of designing for packaging; won't be mechanicals focused, more design focused. However, basic understanding is desired!

Requirements & Responsibilities:

  • 5+ years experience with packaging design
  • Direct to Consumer or Retail brand experience
  • Willingness to collaborate with a talented design team, but also happy to work autonomously
  • Passionate about pixel perfect design, strong typography and color theory
  • Understanding of mechanicals (this position is however more focused on designing artwork for packaging materials vs mechanical elements)
  • Understanding of restrictions involved working within packaging design constraints.
