Our client, a mid-sized ad agency in New York City, is looking to hire a new Creative Front End Developer to support their growing digital creative business. This role begins with a brief freelance trial period before converting to permanent. This role starts on-site in NYC as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:

  • As part of the digital creative team, partner with designers, project managers and account teams to design, develop, launch, and maintain digital creative units across display, rich and high-impact banners.
  • Partner with the creative team to create the industry-leading static and animated banner animation.
  • Build out the code for banner ads based on the specs provided to be trafficked through DCM.
  • Build banners in HTML5 or Google Web Designer.
  • Drive consistency among all banner sizes and formats for each creative campaign you execute.
  • Write and troubleshoot for Javascript, CSS, and HTML.
  • Other tasks may apply.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in animated banner development.
  • Significant experience developing HTML5 banners.
  • Must be well-versed in Photoshop and can change flats to animation.
  • Must have a creative eye to support the creative teams.
  • Experience with design programs Google Web Designer and ad platforms like Doubleclick, Sizmek or Celtra.
  • Experience with Dynamic Creative platforms.
  • DoubleClick certification is a plus.
  • Sketch experience is a plus.
  • Must be able to work independently and have the ability to multi-task in a high-paced and demanding creative environment.
