Global Music Entertainment company in NYC is seeking a software engineer to drive automation and integration of tools that is responsible for intrusion detection and incident response.

What you’ll do:

  • You will utilize your software engineering skills to drive efficiencies in the detection and response process by automating integration between the various tools used for detection alerting and response activities
  • You will be simplifying alert deployment by automating integration between detection and alerting tools which include GCP native capabilities and ticketing and alerting systems like Slack and Jira
  • You will create dashboard and report in Jira to enable service reporting of the data contained in Jira for incidents and other security processes
  • You will streamline incident response processes by automating the creation of incident templates in G-suite, Jira records, Slack channels, and email notifications when incidents occur to reduce the amount of time spent by incident managers to set up incident processes

 

Experience:

  • You can build integration and automation in the Google Cloud Platform and SaaS tools like Jira, Slack, G-Suite, etc.
  • Experienced with leveraging APIs in various platforms and tools and building integration to automate processes
  •  Experience using languages like Python or Java, and experience with the Google Cloud Platform
  • You build software working in teams and deliver products that are easy to work with and can be managed and supported by anyone on the team or new engineers
  • Bonus if you have backend engineering experience and can also build data pipelines to assist in log aggregation from GCP native services in BigQuery and leveraging big query for data analysis
