Our client, an award-winning small independent advertising agency is looking for a Director of Social & Digital Media to join their team. This role begins as soon as possible. Candidates must be local to the NYC area.

What you'll be doing:

  • As a part of the agency leadership team, you will enhance the Social & Digital Media offering from the agency in all ways
  • Lead clients to discover new and impactful ways to leverage Social & Digital across Paid, Owned and Organic channels to achieve business goals
  • Act as a hands-on team lead, delivering strategic support at a high-level all the way to managing content calendars
  • Partner with Account, Strategy and Creative to create award-winning Social & Digital creative campaigns
  • Look for opportunities to expand the business through growth of existing clients as well as new business wins
  • Lead internal and external strategy and creative presentations with gravitas
  • Manage a small team of hard-working Social & Digital personnel
  • Lead the team in continuously looking to raise the level of experience and expertise in the Social & Digital space
  • Consult and lead on reporting and measuring tools
  • Other tasks will apply

About you:

  • 10+ years of Social Media & Digital experience in an Advertising agency environment
  • Proven ability to lead an integrated team in the strategy and development of Social & Digital campaigns
  • Ability to lead clients toward choices with gravitas
  • Experience managing a team of direct reports
  • Ability to develop research plans to support strategic target information gathering
  • Experience pitching new business prospects
  • Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and be excited about the prospect of working in a small but growing agency where you can be part of leadership and grow the agency further
