Onward Search is looking for an Events Coordinator for one of our Digital Media Clients on a long term contract basis, sitting in NYC.

The Events Producer will be added to join their audience development and video production, teams. You will work on our distributed video brand, which drives 1 Billion+ video views monthly to our 63M+ Gen Z/Millenial followers.

The Events Producer supports the strategic planning, execution, and oversight of events which include pop-ups, brand collaborations, and tentpole events, while in alignment with the marketing and sales strategy. This position supports various tasks as assigned on all elements of a program, which may include research, list management, and vendor relations. Being the backbone of this team requires a detail-oriented team player who can multi-task, is willing to roll up their sleeves and do what it takes to get the job done.


Responsibilities:

  • Strong interest in event planning and producing
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to multi-task and work on various projects at once
  • Interest in the intersection between media and technology
  • Ability to problem solve and seek out answers and solutions to various challenges
  • Strong creativity and research skills
  • Tech-savvy with experience in Microsoft Suite, Macs, google docs, and all social media channels (Excel proficiency a plus)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional social skills

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1 - 3 years directly related experience in Event or Tradeshow Management, experience with Advertising Trade Industry a plus.
  • Strong negotiation and event management skills.
  • Excellent project management/coordinating skills.
  • Microsoft skills (ppt, word, excel), Google docs proficient.
