Our client, a leading tech company in the food space, is looking for a Retention Manager to join their Growth Marketing team. This is a permanent position that begins as soon as possible. The team is currently remote, returning to in-person work in NYC Q4 2020 when safe to do so.

What you'll be doing:

  • Build a cross functional process to identify improvement areas and leverage process optimization to retain existing customers
  • Start, deliver upon and monitor projects and experiments aimed at retaining current customers, partnering with internal teams across functions including Operations, Technology, Marketing and Product
  • Work with the cross-functional team to improve the company's customer experience across digital and physical products
  • Mine qualitative and quantitative customer data to uncover insights. Leverage insights to develop strategic recommendations to leadership
  • Work with an international team to drive product roadmaps, develop opportunities to enhance features, and have fun experimenting
  • Develop process to standardize the current customer retention process, developing reports and structure to help streamline the process
  • Continuously look for opportunities to learn about the customer, the market and competitors to become the go-to person for all stakeholders to go to for questions
  • Other tasks may apply

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business, marketing or STEM related field
  • 3-5 years in a Retention Marketing or eCommerce based organization. Bonus if you've been in a subscription business
  • Experience working with various CRM and Retention/Email Marketing systems
  • Must be able to do the heavy lifting across analytical thinking/coding. SQL experience is preferred
  • Experience in automating processes, by using e.g. Python, VBA, Tableau
  • A pragmatic, hands-on mentality to drive towards impact
  • Experience working with integrated product teams
  • Experience individually driving projects
