Our client, an award-winning small independent advertising agency is looking for a Social Media Strategist to join their team. This role begins as soon as possible. Candidates must be local to the NYC area.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading social media advertising campaign development and management for a range of brands, partnering with the Director of Social Media & Digital
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to distill learnings and implications that inform strategic recommendations
  • Develop cohesive, compelling strategic visions for communications, branding, social, and more
  • Communicate strategic visions to the client, and help them and their teams socialize the strategy to the greater organization
  • Guide the development of prioritization frameworks, roadmaps and plans for clients.
  • Collaborate closely with the creative and execution teams to ensure strategies are brought to life correctly
  • Act as a source of industry knowledge with internal and client teams.
  • Other tasks may apply

About you:

  • 4+ years of experience in social media strategy roles driving proven results for clients
  • Experience in developing strategy across multiple digital channels in a creative advertising agency setting
  • Must have experience with Social Media Analytics, Reporting and Management tools like Google Analytics, Sprout, etc.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with strategic and creative partners
  • Good public speaking and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams in high pressure situations
  • Willingness to simultaneously tackle multiple projects and challenges
  • Ability to problem solve independently
  • Passion to rapidly build expertise on new businesses and industry verticals
