Freelance Senior Content Producer

Our client, an eCommerce tech brand in NYC, his hiring an experienced Content Producer to lead the end to end creative development and production for global marketing initiatives.

This is a contract opportunity starting ASAP.

As the Content Producer you will be responsible for developing projects from ideation through to execution. The main role of the Producer is to develop, shoot, and oversee edits of projects in collaboration with creative operations and cross-functional marketing partners. Additionally, Producers are expected to create and submit budgets for approval, organize shoot logistics, serve as the main communicator with crews and editors to guide and execute the creative vision. A Producer should be comfortable juggling multiple projects in various stages of development and work closely with Project Managers to ensure projects are on brand and on-time.

Day-to-day work includes:

• Manage all aspects of content production: scoping, concepting, budgeting, scheduling, sourcing merch, vendor negotiations and payments, shoot, editing and delivery
• Forge and leverage vendor relationships to bring together the right team for every level of production
• Formulate and develop production rationale and recommendations
• Be a resource to operations, brand team, and cross-functional partners
• Support and execute creative concepts
• Manage multiple projects as needed
• Attend shoots virtually and in-person

About you:

• 7+ years of tried and true experience as a Creative Producer
• Excellent communicator, with keen attention to detail
• Can work independently (self-starting) and within a team, and have the ability to collaborate, empathize, encourage, and persuade a broad set of cross-functional partners
• You’re able to be one step ahead - anticipate and guide the team around pitfalls throughout the production process
• Ability to calmly prioritize and efficiently lead multiple projects, with varied team members and timelines, keeping others updated on production plans and progress
• You’re a creative problem solver - solution oriented
• You have strong negotiation skills
• Experience managing production vendors and agencies (e.g., rates and authoring statements of work)
• Have an eye for new talent - directors, editors, content creators, photographers, etc. and encourage new partnerships
