Quality Assurance Engineer

Onward Search needs a Quality Assurance Engineer for one of our large financial customers working a hybrid schedule in New York, NY. 

Job Description:
Seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer for testing web-based, API, and database applications/systems. This role demands a tech-savvy, collaborative team player with a strong financial applications background. Responsibilities include test case creation, automation, metrics, QA environment management, production deployment coordination, and release planning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience or certification.
• 8+ years of quality assurance experience.
• Proficiency in at least 4 testing methods, testing tools, programming languages, or technology environments.
• Proven ability to proactively resolve issues and escalate when necessary.
• Experience in test automation (scripting, onboarding to pipeline and maintenance) with Python and Selenium based automation frameworks.
• Strong experience with SQL required.
• Experience in testing APIs and Webservices.
• Excellent analytical, technical, and time management skills.
• Demonstrated leadership of local and international teams.
• Detail-oriented, organized, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with release testing, sign-off, and deployment methods.
• Preferred experience in multi-asset class, market data, and analytical data.
