Our client, a leader in the insurance industry, is looking for a Director of Web Experience to join their team. This is a full time position and looks to start ASAP. Must be local to NYC and comfortable going into the a hybrid office environment.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop web strategies and product roadmaps that align to business goals
  • Create and manage large-scale digital project plans for delivery of web experiences across several line of businesses and key stakeholders
  • Lead discovery sessions to gather product requirements and ensure the development of new web experiences align to defined strategies
  • Provide feedback and recommendations that drive strategic initiatives
  • Provides industry experience to solve complex digital challenges and makes decisions to achieve goals
  • Guides and direct the research and design for delivering key product enhancements (UX/UI, user journeys, onsite search, SEO, etc.)
  • Works across the organization to understand and enable digital experiences that contributes to the overall success of the business
  • Manages team of digital product managers and works with a cross-functional team of UX, UI, SEO, content, and other stakeholders to develop digital experiences and ongoing product enhancements
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop, conduct, and assess onsite testing strategies (AB, Multivariate, and targeted experiences)
  • Work with internal performance analytics team to report on key insights that inform web enhancements

About you:

  • 8+ years of work experience with 2+ years of experience leading teams and building consumer facing digital products
  • Specialized depth of knowledge and breadth of experience with web product management (UX, UI, Content, SEO, HTML, coding principles, etc.)
  • Experience with managing multiple projects
  • Solves unique and complex problems
  • Competent using data and consumer insights to make strategic decisions
  • Demonstrates leadership with a team first mentality and the ability to build cross-functional relationships
  • Strong presentation and communication skills. Ability to communicate complex ideas with others at all levels
