Our client, a leading technology company in the audio space, is looking for a Product Designer to join their team on a 6 month contract with potential to go permanent. This is a fully remote position, however candidates are preferred to be on the East Coast.

What you’ll do:

  • Define the User Experience specifically for developer facing tools
  • Partner with a tight cross-functional team that includes engineering, product, and insights
  • Leverage existing insights, technical constraints, and business needs to produce sound, data-informed solutions
  • Take pride and ownership of your work-product including every detail and step of the way, from whiteboard sketching to high-fidelity final treatments
  • Rapidly produce multiple concepts and prototypes, understanding when deeper exploration is warranted and when it is best to change paths and try another approach
  • Other tasks may apply

Who you are:

  • You have at least 5 years of experience designing developer experiences and/or developer platforms
  • You come from a service designer background with the ability to work with complex workflows.
  • Must have internal tooling design experience in a technical product space
  • Experience with service design, systems thinking, complex user flows
  • Must be senior enough to work with high-level strategy but hands on enough to do the day to day design
  • Possess the communication skills to help set up frameworks and brainstorm initial design concepts
  • Must be able to speak confidently to your own design work and convince others of your reasoning.
  • You have a people-focused design mentality and want to design and build products/features that truly have meaningful impact
  • You are comfortable independently leading complete design projects of high complexity
