Our client in the luxury e-commerce company is looking to bring on a UX/UI designer for a contract to hire opportunity on their team. The ideal candidate for this role has experience designing for e-commerce and creates data-driven design solutions. This role will start onsite in Astoria, Queens ASAP.


  • Effectively conceptualize high-level UX designs and detailed interaction behaviors across platforms/devices
  • Deliver end-to-end UX design process and deliverables from user flows through wireframes/prototypes to consumer facing page layouts/designs
  • Understands and uses current and emerging UX/UI trends
  • Provide detailed sketches and wireframes
  • Ability to Prototype at low and high fidelity
  • Build and maintain design systems / component library
  • Create assets that are clean, modern, consistent with our brand aesthetic and that drive customer engagement
  • Design A/B tests based on quantitative and qualitative data
  • Apply company marketing initiatives and strategic positioning
  • Meet deadlines and work well within a team environment
  • Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, analytics, and project management


  • 2-5 years of proven experience
  • Proficient in creating wireframes, protypes, user and task flows
  • Experienced in design tools such as Sketch, illustrator, photoshop, InDesign
  • Familiarity with Atomic, Principle, or Flinto
  • Experience designing e-commerce sites
  • Experience with user research and user testing methodologies
  • Understanding of front-end languages: HTML5, CSS3, Javascript
  • Ability to work in a face paced environment
