Onward Search's client, a Broadcast Network, is seeking an On-Air Coordinator to join the Broadcast team. We are looking for candidates with the following skills and competencies to fill the role. 


  • Quality control over On-Air Programming coordinating all aspects of live broadcast programming, from organizing with the show to Assistant Directing the live shows from the broadcast center.
  • Oversees transitions between dayparts, such as the transition between Sports and Primetime.
  • Partners with the team, and responsible for creating schedules to send to affiliates and ensures captioning is booked for all sporting events.
  • Providing coverage and management for the Program Services coordinator, taking in deliveries from shows and maintaining correct information about each show.


  • A Bachelor's degree is required.
  • 1-3 years of experience.
  • Experience in cable or broadcast operations is helpful, as is experience with live television shows and/or coordinating television broadcasting is preferred.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills are needed.
  • Good computer skills, including experience with email, the internet and various word processing and Excel programs are required.
  • The ability to multitask and work effectively under daily time constraints in a high-pressure environment is required.
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
