Our client, a large healthcare company, is looking for a Marketing Operations Associate to join their team!


  • Working cross-functionally and project managing the review process for advertising and promotional materials for approved drug and/or device products.
  • Ensuring efficiency of the MLR Committee process, assuring conformance with company policies and procedures.
  • Leading and managing cross-functional promotional review (MLR) meetings, building and managing meeting agendas, facilitating meetings while memorializing MLR reviewer comments and job requirements. (Manages logistics and scheduling).
  • Managing all aspects of the review process for multiple brands (online and offline) utilizing system and reporting to effectively communicate and actively manage jobs with Brand/Project originators.
  • Working closely with Brand Marketing, MLR Committee, Compliance and Marketing Operations teams to proactively identify and resolve issues and ensure reviews are efficiently completed throughout various stages of the process.
  • Utilizing experience and judgment to identify jobs that may not be consistent with best practices, company policies or FDA guidance, and providing training/guidance to all MLR participants.
  • Interfacing with Editorial, Production and Regulatory to assist with system execution of submission process, must be knowledgeable in each area to ensure potential issues are resolved for overall achievement of deadlines (proofing requirements, Regulatory Affairs return of jobs, 2253 submissions to OPDP, etc.).
  • Collaborating with Marketing Operations, IT and Brand Marketing to provide feedback and support for process and system enhancements, actively contributing to ongoing development in these areas as a SME via weekly meetings and system testing for issue resolution.
  • Leading/co-leading departmental projects to ensure department goals are achieved as required.


  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 1 year of experience.
  • Experience working in a pharmaceutical or healthcare advertising environment.
  • Project management skills and experience preferred.
  • Strong presentation and meeting facilitation skills.
  • General understanding of FDA regulations for pharmaceutical advertising and promotion.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Moderate to advanced Microsoft Skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PPT).
  • Familiarity with promotional review systems such as Veeva or Zinc strongly preferred.
  • Experience with editing helpful.
