Our advertising agency client is looking for a Senior Account Executive to join their team for a long term contract!
Senior Account Executive Responsibilities:
Helping to develop comprehensive communications plans for assigned products which support approved marketing strategies
Managing the development of projects from initiation to completion while remaining on time, within budget, and on strategy
Handle MLRC submissions from start to finish
Supervising advertising expenditures on assigned products
Communicating with the Management Supervisor on a regular and consistent basis as to the status of account, meetings, issues, etc.
Communicating with all agency personnel to ensure assigned projects are correctly executed including Legal and Medical accuracy and satisfactory appearance of assigned communications projects
Planning for new product opportunities
Conduct input sessions with Clients, Agency, Public Relations and Professional Communications to discuss communications plans for new product opportunities, new product launches, and annual marketing plans
Developing creative platforms for assigned brands. Provide strategic input for creative team and participates in creative development sessions
Presenting campaigns to clients and presenting recommended consumer and professional audience campaigns and tactics with the assistance of key Agency Account Management and Creative staff, when appropriate
Conduct strategy review meetings for Creative and Legal/Medical
Recommend media and sales promotional opportunities. Work closely with media analyst in developing media schedules. Meets regularly with journal and video representatives to keep current on industry trends/information
Supply clients with accurate and timely budget reports and provide budget guidelines to Creative and Production teams on assigned projects. Recommend to client’s budget revisions which adjust to budgeted levels or increase or decrease advertising spends in the face of market or competitive activities
Senior Account Executive Requirements:
BA in related field
6+ years' previous experience within Account Services, 2+ in supervisory role
Pharmaceutical/medical agency experience required
Strong knowledge of marketing and advertising principals
Excellent management, supervisory and analytical communication skills
Strong attention to detail, meticulous time management and project management skills
Proficient in MS Office Suite
