Our client, a highly regarded advertising agency, is looking for a Group Copy Supervisor to join their team fulltime!

Responsibilities:

  • Directing a group of copywriters as they prepare promotional communications
  • Assigning brands to direct reports; reviewing, assessing and making recommendations to maximize team and individual performance
  • Supervising direct reports as they develop original, creative solutions that solve for a wide range of brand problems - constantly developing and maintaining each brand's image
  • Review team's work during creation and before it is dispatched to the client
  • Conceptualizing original copy for social media
  • Managing copy group's workload to maximize efficiencies, assuring completion of all work on time and on budget
  • Inspiring and elevating the level of creative ability on the team, helping to guide the professional/creative development and growth of copywriters
  • Working collaboratively and constructively with all ACD, Art counterparts
  • Ensuring both you and your team stay current and conversant with brands and competition.
  • Leading and participating in brand blueprint sessions
  • Effectively presenting creative work both internally and externally
  • Participates in and contributes to shaping brand positioning and strategies for all assigned brands alongside all other members of brand teams within your group

Requirements:

  • 10+ years creative / supervisory copy experience, preferably in pharmaceutical or healthcare communications
  • Strong understanding of social media strategy and execution
  • Experience within a classic full-service agency environment
  • BA degree or higher required
