Onward Search is looking for a Social Media Specialist to join a growing digital team for a contract-to-hire opportunity!

You will report to the VP of Digital Marketing and be responsible for the following:

  • Maintain active social media accounts for each company brand (Facebook, Pinterest, Houzz, Twitter, YouTube)
  • Manage social media communication and engagement for all channels
  • Develop content for social campaigns, adhering to brand guidelines set forth by each Brand Manager
  • Use social reporting programs to analyze efficacy of data
  • Partner with marketing team to collaborate on marketing campaigns and ensure social content is supporting corporate marketing initiatives
  • Create innovative ways to engage community and drive acquisition to main sites
  • Effectively communicate social campaign strategies and results to marketing and executive teams


  • 3+ years of Social Media experience
  • Proven ability to be innovative within social media
  • Previous experience using social analytics tools to measure success and implement actionable items based on analysis
  • Ability to drive social engagement and convert social engagement to consumer spending.
  • Proficient with MS Office suite
  • Proficient with Photoshop, able to create content for social, experience partnering with a creative team to get brand content


  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
