E-Learning Production Assistant

Our client, an educational association, is looking for an E-learning Production Assistant to join their team for a remote 3-6 month contract role.

E-learning Production Assistant Responsibilities:

• Performing data entry tasks while maintaining quality and accuracy throughout
• Handling content in multiple languages and ensuring they are placed correctly into their proper course pages
• Working closely with E-Learning team implement changes with accuracy and speed
• Help maintain the asset database on server (follow protocol to storing E-learning files)
• Ensure file folder structure and naming conventions are being closely followed as outlined by the creative team
• Double check layout specs (bleed, trim, resolution, color space and file management) to verify accuracy before committing to server
• Use Adobe Creative Cloud for to create layout in both print and digital media; use Adobe Digital Publishing to assist in the development of products for tablet
• Ensure previous versions of files are archived and saved/named on the appropriate server

E-Learning Production Assistant Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a Production Assistant
• 1+ years of experience with E-learning
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage/coordinate multiple projects; must prioritize workload to meet fast-paced deadlines
• Demonstrable knowledge in print production as well digital distribution production
• Strong Knowledge of design, typography and type specification and typeface
• Professional Content Management Systems experience (WordPress, Drupal, Joomla or other)
• Proficient with Google Apps
• Working knowledge of HTML/CMS Structure
• Comfortable using Adobe creative suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Outlook)
• Experience using a Digital Asset Management System highly preferred
• Previous experience performing production work in several languages highly preferred (While no additional language skills are required, the ability to spot subtle visual differences in each language will be useful for making edits and ensuring consistency across course pages)
