ERP Finance Business Systems Specialist

Our client is looking to bring on an ERP Finance Business Systems Specialist for a 6 month contract-to-hire position. The role is remote, but you will be required to be onsite at the client's manufacturing facility in Alabama twice a quarter.

Job Summary
As a Centre of Excellence (CoE) ERP Specialist, you will act as a skilled and knowledgeable team member whose role is to provide the business global support and deliver best practices around the design and implementation of ERP applications and solutions in line with the business requirements.
Working as a member of the global ERP Team, the ERP Specialist will play a role in provisioning ‘Build’ (Global ERP Standard Template) and ‘Run’ to continuously improve and support the ERP platform within the agreed SLA.
The ERP Specialist forms part of the wider IT applications team, an integral part of the global IT organization. You will be a trusted partner to the business in providing ERP applications and solutions in line with the IT operating model, working alongside the IT business partners, project management office, security and IT operations teams.

Job Responsibilities

• User Support in troubleshooting both ERP and business process issues.
• Analyze user operational procedures to develop functional systems requirements and advise and instruct other staff responsible for development.
• Improve process flow and user documentation for different CINCOM related modules and enhance user knowledge and competency.
• Other duties as assigned based on business needs: i.e., special projects, enhancements etc.
• The ERP Specialist is responsible for project tracking and control for assigned modules or systems, serving as a liaison between functional and technical resources to manage the development of new system functionality, upgrades, system modifications, and day-to-day problem analysis, issue tracking, and resolution.
• Ability to translate the functional and non-functional business requirements into a technical solutions design.

Job Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience ERP and Financial systems.
• 3+years of experience with Oracle database to include creating/maintaining functions, stored procedures, etc.
• A minimum of 3 years of implementation experience of large ERP applications with emphasis on Finance modules, specifically Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Cash Management and Sub ledger Accounting.
• 3+ years of experience with reporting of financial data.
• 3+ years of experience with SFTP and other business integration methods.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience working with end users and business teams for requirements gathering, understanding customer needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Should be able to handle complex account reconciliations in standard and actual costing environments.
• CINCOM Control and Unit4 Financials in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of rules and regulations for compliance adherence purposes, and country/region specific knowledge appropriate to role.

Pay: $105,000 - $120,000 yearly
