Packaging Production Manager

Onward Search has an exciting opportunity for a Packaging Production Manager with an organic CPG company!

This is a full-time role located in Petaluma that kicks off in early April!

Specific responsibilities will include:

• Managing the quality of packaging-related vendors
• Troubleshooting and ensuring the efficiency in packaging production artwork process
• Working with the sourcing team to capture and track color costs and color parameters per vendor
• Participating in the selection, administration and optimization of packaging workflow technologies, including DAM and Project Management software
• Managing color tracking pre- and post production, logging production and press adjustments and working with sourcing on recourse issues
• Managing and maintaining packaging archive files
• Conducting pre-flight on production files, before upload, to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Overseeing budgets for packaging projects, working closely with packaging marketing managers to create estimates, code invoices and track individual budgets for projects

Experience:

• 5+ years of packaging production management experience
• Working extensively with outsourced vendors in a creative production environment
• Up-to-date resume
