Paid Media Specialist

Onward Search is seeking Paid Media Specialist for a top financial company in their Los Angeles, CA or NYC office locations. 

The Paid Media Specialist is a member of the Media Strategy team and will work directly with Senior Channel Producers alongside other internal business teams and external agencies to create and manage Paid Media programs.

This is a 12-month, full-time contract position that offers a remote/hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to work either onsite in Los Angeles, CA, or NYC.

Paid Media Specialist Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize Paid Media campaigns in collaboration with Senior Channel Producers, internal teams, and the Agency.
• Contribute to the development of paid media strategies for different groups.
• Build relationships with various stakeholders and present key insights and action items related to paid media.
• Ensure the timely launch of campaigns by setting up and overseeing campaign components such as tagging, trafficking, creative approvals, targeting, and billing.
• Monitor and optimize campaign budgets, pacing, and performance metrics to meet campaign goals.
• Project manage campaigns from concept to execution, coordinating with cross-functional teams and overseeing the creative development process.
• Track media spends and ensure timely payments to vendors.
• Cultivate relationships with key vendors and agency partners, staying informed about new market recommendations.
• Actively participate in status and reporting calls, presenting campaign performance updates.
• Maintain documentation related to cross-functional initiatives impacting Paid Media growth.

Paid Media Specialist Job Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of experience in Digital Media, Social Media, or Paid Media, preferably in an agency or in-house media function.
• Proficiency in digital media planning and budget forecasting.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities, capable of working effectively in a team and across diverse groups.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including effective presentation abilities.
• Familiarity with Paid Media platforms such as GCM, Adobe Analytics, Claravine, Nielsen Commspoint, and Kantar.
• Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) is required.
