We are looking for an experienced Paid Search Marketing professional for a client in Boston. The successful candidate will have between 5-8 years experience developing, implementing and managing SEM campaigns with large search spend budgets.


  • Strategically plan and develop SEM campaigns for clients across a variety of industries with varying KPIs
  • Bid management and optimization, in both a manual and automated capacity as is necessitated by the client and scale of the account
  • Campaign set up including (but not limited to) trafficking into UI/editors using industry best practices across settings, adgroups, keywords and all entities of an SEM account
  • Budget forecasting and allocation
  • Overall management of keywords and ad copy across applicable search engines and bid management platforms
  • Implementation and review of ad copy performance, as well as development of new creative and any coinciding A/B testing
  • Daily tracking, pacing and monitoring of paid search performance in adherence with client budgets and goals
  • Analyzation and reporting on SEM performance both in an unaided capacity and in conjunction with any members of the analytics team, when applicable
  • Provide strategic recommendations/next steps based on campaign results and market conditions
  • Stay up to date with SEM trends and provide updates to the larger team with POVs regarding any major industry shifts or changes


  • Expert-level proficiency across major search engines (Google, Bing, Yahoo) both across UIs and off-line editors
  • Proficiency across search bid management platforms
  • Google AdWords & BingAds Certified
  • Familiarity buying media across other channels (Display, Social, Native) preferred
  • Ability to work both individually on a project and in a team environment
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage details, efficient work habits, and flexibility
  • Expertise in Excel
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills are a must


  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
