Our client, a social media content company, is on the hunt for Capture Artist to join the team.
Responsibilities:
Assist in our photogrammetry capture process.
Capture unique products using an array of camera equipment to output high quality 3D scans.
Using unique photography methods you will capture hundreds of photos and process them using industry leading post-process 3D software packages.
Take responsibility for the products in your care
Prepare and stage products for capture process using Brand provided shooting guides
Operate camera arrays to photograph products from 360 degree perspectives
Modify raw capture photos to enhance details, exposure, & white balance
Ingest modified photos into photogrammetry software to construct high resolution 3D scans
Take reference photos for each unique product from orthographic camera angles
Deliver work to Lead Capture Artist for review
Work to overcome technical limitations through inventive capture methods
Be a part of driving a positive work environment
Musts:
5-7 years Product Photographer
3 years 3D / VFX work experience using Reality Capture or another Photogrammetry application / software
1 year of using a handheld scanning system
1 Year Experience using laser scanning systems or SLS
High level multitasking ability
Excellent communication skills, proven ability to work in a team
Ability to learn fast and adapt to technical constraints of capture projects, or software
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
Experience automating image processing tasks
Experience in 3D packages (Maya, Blender, ZBrush, Substance Painter)
Fundamental understanding of 3D asset creation from scan data
Experience in styling and working with photography for products
Physical Requirements:
The ability to lift 25 pounds regularly.
The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
The ability to safely climb ladders.
The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly.
The ability to be around flashing or strobing photography equipment.
