Onward Search is looking for a PHP Developer to join our agency client, for a contract-to-hire opportunity that starts in a month.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Building efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules.
  • Writing “clean”, well-designed code.
  • Developing and deploying new features.
  • Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle.
  • Integrating user-facing elements developed by front-end developers.

We are seeking a PHP Developer who meets the following requirements:

  • 3+ years of PHP development experience.
  • Experience with Drupal 8 is preferred (Drupal 7 okay).
  • Experience with PHP MVC frameworks (Symfony, Laravel, Yii, Kohana, CodeIgniter, Zend, etc.)
  • Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases.
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML5/CSS3).
  • Experience building restful JSON web services.
  • Knowledge of API's (Twitter, Facebook, Google maps, Instagram, etc.).

  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
