Our client, a leader in digital marketing solutions, is seeking an out-of-the-box thinker to join their team as a Product Analyst. This newly created role will be responsible for assimilating and analyzing information to support products and drive product development activity.

Skills:

  • Co-lead cross-department to gather, assimilate and distribute appropriate competitor and market information on a regular cadence.
  • Analyze customer needs, competitive intelligence and market information to validate, expand and/or generate new concepts and support product portfolio at various stages in the product lifecycle.
  • Co-lead product team to identify potential enhancements to portfolio and efficiency improvements
  • Engage 3rd party technology vendors to stimulate new platform, product, and feature enhancement opportunities.
  • Maintain evergreen products in conjunction with Director of Products and Technology Partners and appropriate leadership team members
  • Conduct pre-gating analysis and prepare product briefs based on customer needs, competitive intelligence, market trends and internally generated ideas.
  • Support in the development of business cases and prove ROI
  • Assist Director of Products, Ad Operations and Marketing to construct business and technical requirements and execution during development.
  • Develop positioning and value propositions of products and features working hand-in-hand with Marketing and Sales
  • Develop product/feature test plans and oversee execution of testing.
  • Oversee product/feature launch process inclusive of product training activities
  • Define required processes with Ad Operations for new product/feature releases or portfolio enhancements
  • Analyze post-launch performance and portfolio lifecycle performance

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience working in product development, project management or product analysis roles.
  • BA in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field – required
  • Digital Media/Advertising industry experience required
  • Experience with digital media platforms: Adwords, Bing, GA, and Facebook
  • Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project. 
  • Ability to translate between technical and non-technical people. The ideal candidate will articulate digital technology concepts and functionality in a clear, professional manner via verbal and written communications.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, proven ability to determine ROI of technology initiatives.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional, interdepartmental teams.
  • High energy, self-motivated with strong leadership capabilities.
  • Easily adapts to change in responsibilities, work processes, timeframes, and performance expectations.
  • Equally comfortable in a fluid or structured organization or work environment.
  • Experience in leading off-shore or near-shore teams is a significant plus.
