Our client, an innovative beauty + skincare brand, is looking for an Product Line Manager – Beauty/Retail with 4-5+ years of experience.

This person will be tasked to help grow their distribution in North America. This role will be responsible for training and managing current accounts as well as bringing in new partners. We are focused on eCommerce and expect this position to understand the eCommerce channel for the retailers. This position requires a skilled negotiator and communicator dedicated to long-term relationship building, improved client satisfaction, and streamlined operational procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all sales initiatives for the brands portfolio in select regional customers and in top west coast retail doors.
  • Lead Customer Business Planning
  • Own in store visibility and presence in select retail doors.
  • Clear and effective weekly, monthly communication to eCommerce team.
  • Data and analytics focused - analyze sales and develop strategies with the team that are in line with company target goals.
  • Deliver against annual sales objectives.
  • Continually come up with new ideas on how to achieve sales objectives. Via new initiates, opening orders, and key selling times.
  • Ensure corporate programs are aligned with sell in/through objectives
  • Maintain strong presence with our partners:
  • Responsible for stock issues/solutions.
  • Negotiate opening orders, build order (write recommended orders), allocations. Strategic thinking of new ways to support/grow the categories within customers business.
  • Input into NA Sales strategy development.
  • Build Networks; build beneficial relationships with Account Buying Office and Sales team, in order to help identify win-win solutions.


Experience

  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a Sales Manager (or similar role) in the Beauty industry
  • Experience in Prestige brands e.g., beauty, fashion, personal care
  • Device beauty experience – experience working on or closely with a technical beauty product
  • E-commerce experience – confidence to speak to high end retailers
  • Customer business planning and customer strategy
  • In-store experience
  • Managing sales budgets - responsible for P & L
  • Working with multi-functional business partners
  • Proven self-starter with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a very fast-paced environment.
