Production Designer

Onward Search needs a Production Designer for an in-house creative agency for a large retail client. 
 
You’ll join a brand strategy and creative team in creating essential branded visuals. Duties involve optimizing and generating key brand assets for the client’s marketing initiatives, encompassing tasks such as crafting power point presentations, data sheets, trade show designs, email templates, and various video production elements. You will operate autonomously and with cross-functional stakeholders, project managers, brand managers, copywriters, and fellow designers to ensure uniformity and excellence in work quality. Managing multiple projects concurrently to meet deadlines is a crucial aspect of this role.  Furthermore, this position entails upholding brand consistency across all materials by implementing rigorous work practices and streamlined workflows for all assets. It also involves supporting continuous updates, maintenance, and coherence of supplementary assets.

 This is a 13-week project opportunity with the potential to extend working 2-3 days on-site in San Bruno, CA.

Pay rate range: $42 - $47 hourly
 
As a Production Designer you’ll: 

• Work alongside designers and copywriters to expand campaign creative across various ad formats, adhering to established templates and guidelines.
• Consistently generate multiple pieces promptly and efficiently.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and effectively evaluate daily workload, limitations, and productivity.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail for all marketing assets.
• Guarantee timely project delivery and ensure accessibility of all files on our internal server.
• Possess proficiency in designing for screen, web, print, and trade show formats.

• Minimum of 5 years in professional production or design roles.
• Demonstrated experience in robustly supporting brand campaigns, showcasing proficiency in maintaining brand standards and creating diverse assets.
• Comprehensive expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects.
• Proficiency in working with Figma. Knowledgeable in print and graphic development and production.
• Extensive familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint and Office.
• Adept at discerning effective layout and typography, applying color theory, hierarchy, and balance.
• Capable of troubleshooting minor issues related to typography, layout, applications, and hardware.
• Adherence to meticulous production standards for assets and work files.

• Capability and examples of video creation and editing.
• Proficiency in HTML 5 coding.
• Skills in front-end development.
