Our client, a boutique independent agency at the intersection of technology and experiential is looking to hire a live events Production Manager.

What you'll be doing:

  • Provide pre-event preparation and on-site support for the production and technical requirements of a variety of live events/exhibitions
  • Obtain costs from vendors/suppliers and creating estimates to compare bids
  • Help with researching of services and products from vendors
  • Coordinate logistics with your internal agency team including freelancers brought on for production related events
  • Partner with your supporting creative production team to develop solves for events
  • Help schedule and manage the production process
  • Work with venues to carry out site visits as needed
  • Develop relationships with supplier teams and continue to drive expectation for the inclusion of new innovative products and services
  • Responsible for creation and management of load lists and packing of all shipments at delivery warehouse (including international)
  • Ensure Health & Safety requirements are met in accordance with agency policies
  • Partner with design, production and client handling disciplines, and a constant stream of freelancers, contractors and suppliers
  • Help with any additional creative production or production related tasks as needed

About you:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar live event production role in similar industry
  • Working understanding of technical staging, AV, Lighting and construction
  • Bachelors degree (bonus if in Technical Design related field)
  • Have managed budgets, vendors and can work multiple projects concurrently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word and Excel)
  • Ideally you also have: Vector/AutoCAD and PPT/Keynote experience, US Driving License and Passport
  • You are reliable, strong attention to detail and bring a can-do attitude to any problem
  • Approachable and calm persona
  • Excellent communicator
  • Able to travel for up to 4 weeks at a time equating a total of 4-6 months per year of travel
  • Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed


  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
