Our client, an ecommerce company, is seeking a Product/UX Designer to join the Buyer Experience team for a 5 month contract.

You will report to the Director of Product Design and be responsible to:

  • Working on desktop and mobile app doing AB testing on incremental changes within the buying experience
  • Conceptualizing and crafting prototypes and hypotheses with users to collect feedback
  • Guide foundational research into these user experiences, identify hypotheses for solutions, and implement changes
  • Partner closely with a product manager, 3-5 in-house engineers, researcher, and analyst to deliver solutions to tricky problems and get feedback directly from customers
  • Discovering insights, opportunities, and requirements
  • Testing prototypes and hypotheses with users to collect feedback
  • Designing and launching experiments and evaluating how they perform and next steps to iterate
  • Presenting your work to peers and leadership
  • Taking part in weekly design critiques, workshops, all hands and squad meetings
  • Thinking and writing about your process and documenting your decisions
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to other designers


  • 5+ years as a Product/UX designer in-house or within an agency
  • Ability to run independently or give direction to designers within your team
  • Proficiency with contemporary design and prototyping tools and methods
  • Experience working on mobile web, desktop and native app platforms
  • Proven success leading and developing brand-new experiences and building upon existing features with qualitative and quantitative insights
  • Successful track record of experimentation and design execution that has clear impact towards business and customer experience goals
  • Highly developed design skills, demonstrated in your portfolio of recent work
  • Confident presentation and storytelling abilities
  • Able to translation of quantitative & qualitative insights into design decisions
  • Contribution to our culture of motivation, optimism, quality, integrity
  • Displaying strong collaboration skills is a must have
